Step 1  REGISTER ONLINE
Using the sportngin links on our website and select your players correct age group. Once your child is registered, and payment has been made, your child will be GUARANTEED a spot on a team. If a division becomes full you can email us to be added on the wait list or join another NJB chapter.

Step 2   EMAILS ARE KEY!
We will be sending emails out after you register on a regular basis to inform parents of important dates and player evaluation time and location. (Make sure to check your spam folder, if you're not receiving our emails.) 

Step 3  Mandatory Player Evaluations
After registration closes we will schedule player evaluations for all players in grades 2nd thru High School.
This give our coaches a chance to assess your child’s level of play, so we can ensure teams are picked and created fairly to make it a fun season for all! Teams are picked in a Fantasy football style draft using our new online tool. This is why we now require Adding your players picture to the registration process.

Rookie Division grades: k thru 1st - don't participate in player evaluations - chapter director and staff build teams based off players registration form.

Step 4  DRAFT NIGHT
This is for our COACHES ONLY.
During this time, coaches will pick teams. All players are entered into the draft pool. There will be NO reserving of coaches or same team player requests during the winter season.
(Only siblings can be on the same team)

Step 5  Coaches Contact Parents
Once teams have been picked, coaches will call and reach out to all parents on his roster to introduce themselves and provide you with the teams practice info and answer any questions.

Coaches will hold a parent meeting at the first practice to discuss NJB rules, game time etiquette, sportsmanship and season details.

Typical NJB Practice Schedule:

Rookies Players -
Practices are Saturday mornings and only once a week, and practices are outside at local parks in the community.

Divisional and H.S. Players - Practices are twice a week, once on Saturday mornings and the second during the week but it's up to each coach to pick outside courts at local parks in the community.

Coaches will try and pick practice times that work with all their players schedules but reminder they also need to work around their normal job schedule as we are all volunteers.


Step 6   Game Day
Games are always played on Sunday afternoons.

Gyms we use are:
Circle City Gym - located on Main St. in Corona.

Civic Center Gym - off 6th St Corona.

Riley's Gym, - in Norco - 3950 Acacia Ave Norco CA, 92860

La Sierra Civic Center Gym in Riverside

The time and location of the season’s games will be posted on our Tourney Machine App which lists the game time, gym location, and team roster and team standings.

Step 7   Uniforms
Jerseys and shorts will be distributed out to players by the coach at the teams practice one week before the first game.

Step 8   Typical season format
Winter season we play around 10 games.
Divisional teams grades 2nd thru 8th participate in a one day Championship Series tournament at the end of season.

We also have All Star's for those players selected.

Step 9  End of season
Trophies are given out at the last game of the season. 

After the last game of the season - teams will have a End of Season party, planned by the team parent and coach.
